Cuculati I, II, and III

        Diego Jimenez A01139513

I chose the class  were we were asked to compare two similar sculptures or paintings, as you can see I chose a sculpture. These are "Cuculati" I, II and III from Leonora Carrington,  they look somewhat sinister, which is what I though of them at first, but after some research I found the true meaning behind those black robes the sculptures are wearing. They are supposed to be a physical representation of the oppressed female figure, passive, and exposed to any sort of disrespect, which reflects how treatment towards women was, very different during nowadays.
