Letter to my past
It is 2030, the world its dying, we realize
that the world wasn’t infinite at all, it doesn’t matter now, this is just what
we do, isn’t it?, We don’t care about the things that we do till we see the consequences,
but it doesn’t matter either now. You can see the pain on their faces, saying
good bye for the last time, at least they have the chance.
Do you want to know the reason?, you haven’t figure
it out yet?, are you thirsty?, it’s a shame, because we don’t have water now,
you know, it was supposed to be enough for all of us, but just for all of them who
have the access to it. So the war began.
Countries that were running out of water
protested, they just wanted a sip of water to survive, but we were too selfish,
we didn´t care about the others, so they attacked. A Few bombs were dropped; people
were dying, so we fought back. But when we realized the size of the destruction,
it was too late.
The world it’s infinite to those who save the
things that it gives us, if you are too selfish to share the world, then you shouldn’t
be here, because we live off human interactions, that’s what make us humans. So,
if you are reading this, just think about me, think about your family, and
think about people who deserve to live, because you have the power to save the
world.
